LMS & CMS
BBC WIL has extensive experience of working with client systems, but we’re equally happy to provide LMS/CMS packages if required.
We are developing the LMS/CMS architecture for the Open University/African Virtual University TESSA (Teacher Education in sub-Saharan Africa) project. This major project has many hundreds of resources, held in a specially adapted version of Moodle. These will be available in 15 African Languages and can be downloaded and adapted by users. The customised resources can either be uploaded to the main portal or placed within other LMS systems.
BBC WIL has, for the past seven years been developing and maintaining open2.net - one of the most successful lifelong portals in Europe. The site is produced using a customised CMS system, which we designed in collaboration with Psycle.
